ACADEMICS AND CENTER BASED PLAY
Our program is created to be a individualized lesson plan. Center based play is important but academic instruction is vital to the future success of the growing student. A balance in both center based play and academic instruction is a very intricate part to developing the whole child. Children want to explore centers that interest them. In our class rooms centers are selected according to the interest of the children but are designed academically.
SOCIAL EMOTIONAL DEVELOPMENT
Conscious discipline was created by Becky Bailey to help the child find a voice to help manage social emotional growth and development. This program has proved to be a success in our classrooms since we opened in 2013. We will continue to use conscious discipline to teach emotional stability and self control to out students.
